Aerospace Products

Real Carbon transitioned from making recreational carbon fiber products like Windsurfing boards and booms into the Aerospace market in 1999 when we started making a custom lightweight carbon fiber RF\EMI shielded enclosure for the Piccolo Autopilot system developed by Cloud Cap Technology.
We continued to develop a number of related Aerospace UAV products, like camera housings, portable ground station components, Pitot Static probes and any number of RF\EMI shielded enclosures for avionics modules as well as a host of servo and elevator tray enclosures. Most of the latter feature our “secret sauce” proprietary lightweight integrated shielding which allows a composite part to become a Faraday cage.
Real Carbon continues to develop lightweight EMI\RF shielded enclosures for the Aerospace market. We recently collaborated with Overwatch Imaging.
That first autopilot enclosure was was developed with Cloud Cap Technology, now Collins Aerospace in 1999, that’s over a quarter of a century ago, which is a long time in the constantly evolving UAV market.
Carbon fiber is a material that has revolutionized the manufacturing industry, offering a high strength-to-weight ratio and exceptional durability. This makes it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications, from aerospace and automotive to sporting goods and consumer products.
