Real Carbon has manufactured custom carbon fiber parts and assemblies for the UAV market since 1999.

Since carbon fiber is intrinsically lightweight and strong, careful design of the composite UAV component can significantly reduce vehicle weight, thus improving time over target.

Our proprietary technology can incorporate a Faraday Cage into the composite matrix through the inclusion of a Ni mesh layer into the plies of the part, which creates a continuous and contiguous layer necessary for the electrical properties of a Faraday Cage.

This technology is significantly lighter than most surface coatings, eliminates the need for the additional painting, and is much more resistant to scratches incurred in the field or during assembly. Thus, weight and cost are reduced at higher function.

We manufacture a great number of different sizes and shapes using this technology, which is typically applied for avionics enclosures, as well as servo and elevator trays, and covers.

Real Carbon also manufactures camera enclosures for the UAV market, as well as Pitot Static probes, portable ground station components and modular fuselage slices.

Many of the UAV parts are painted to blend in with the fuselage and reduce gloss.
