Recycling carbon fiber and other exotic materials into exciting and unique products not only helps reduce waste but also contributes to sustainable practices in various industries. By reimagining these high-performance materials, we can create innovative designs that blend functionality with aesthetics, paving the way for a circular economy. This approach not only minimizes environmental impact but also opens up opportunities for creativity and advancement in product development, showcasing the potential of repurposing materials that were once considered difficult to recycle.

At Real Carbon no matter how hard we try we generate some carbon fiber which does not end up in the finished product we are manufacturing.
Most of the extraneous material is created when we cut the plies needed for a specific part, on our automated ply cutter.
We nest as efficiently as we can but inevitably create some “select remnants” a term we stole from one of our golf customers.

In this instance we recycled our waste carbon into a beautiful, forged knife handle.
